From the moment you walk through the door, until Mimi takes her last breath,
experience Bohemian Paris of the 1800s. Enjoy the opera café-style
where you will meet Rodolfo and Mimi, operas most famous couple, as
they struggle with the cold harsh realities of bohemian life. Directed by
Chicago Opera Theaters Andrew Eggert, with Musical Direction by critically
acclaimed conductor and music director Francesco Milioto, starring young,
talented singers currently performing with major opera houses across the U.S.
and abroad including: Lawrence Johnson as Rodolfo, Veronica Mitina as Mimi and
Michael Mayes as Marcello, Ken Mattice as Schaunard and Andrew Schultze as
Benoit/Alcindoro. Set DesignMatthew Morton, Costume DesignTatjana
Radisic, Lighting DesignDustin Efird. Sung in Italian with dramatic
narration.
